Photo Collection Campaign - My Memory of NCPA

Since its inauguration in 2007, NCPA has written brilliant chapters for seven years. Beautiful grand buildings, colorful performances, lively and interesting art outreach activities and an array of exhibitions attract countless visitors to make wonderful and memorable photos in this art world.

From now until December 23, 2014, the official website of NCPA will kick off Photo Collection Campaign entitled “My Memory of NCPA”. Photos should be themed with “enjoying high art in NCPA, and have story-telling and commemorative features”. They can be photos for beautiful moments during visit, precious ticket stub and souvenirs after watching plays, or intimate group photos with the artists in some events...

If you have such photos, please send them to dajuyuan@chncpa.org. Join us and pin your photos on the wall of “My Memory of NCPA”!

Collected photo will be on show at official website of NCPA. Souvenirs will be presented for some active participants.

Participation:

1) The original digital photos should be sent to dajuyuan@chncpa.org, with email title of “Photo Collection”.

2) The total size of email attachment should not exceed 20M. 1-5 photos should be contained in every email (resolution of not less than 800 * 600 in every photo).

3) Email should be attached with photo title, brief description with at most 100 Chinese characters or 200 English words and the author’s name, mobile phone number and contact address.

4) Participants should agree that Organizer is allowed to use the collected photos for the purpose of non-profit publicity without the need of paying contribution fee.

The NEWS column on the official website of NCPA, will publish a list of souvenir gainers. Please pay attention to the official website for further information.

On August 10, 2014, the Eight Seconds Chorus held a concert in NCPA. This is my performer pass. I wanted to keep it well, but returned it to NCPA upon the completion of concert. This winter holiday, Eight Seconds Chorus will come on NCPA's stage again. Which memory will be imprinted this time...?Photo by Zheng Ming


I took this photo on August 10, 2014, on which our Eight Seconds Chorus held a dedicated concert in NCPA. It was a great encouragement and glory for me to appear in China's highest-level theater in my freshman year. On the afternoon of May 14, Wangfujing Metro Station was crowded and boisterous. Graceful notes, accompanied by applause, freely resounded. Public-benefit performance of the Sixth May Music Festival of NCPA was staged here. This was the 11th Stop of May Music Festival Public Concert, but also debut of live performance of chamber music in Beijing’s subway.

On the morning of April 12, 300 spectators, selected through an open recruitment, went into the Concert Hall of NCPA. They witnessed rehearsal scene of National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Zhang Yi.


On December 22, 2010 (Open Day for the 3rd Anniversary), Master Photo Wall attracted many visitors to stop and carefully watch.


On the afternoon of September 14, NCPA mobilized all forces of percussion music world, and let more than 2,000 participants enjoy a percussion carnival with surprising performances and interactions in a row.

On July 3, “Art Tour in Summer Holiday” embarked on a happy journey, which was organized by NCPA. The children were invited to the stage, and played with maestro Li Biao.。


On the afternoon of October 29, Dutch National Ballet staged their flashmob in Beijing Parkview Green during Dance Festival of NCPA. In this way, classical ballet and ordinary people encountered with “pleasant surprise”.


On September 19, 2014, several old friends, with sincere love for The Red Guards on Honghu Lake, visited rehearsal hall of NCPA production opera The Red Guards on Honghu Lake. They took along their own memorable stories and precious collectibles involved with The Red Guards on Honghu Lake in the youth, and shared “predestined relationship” in their memories on the site.


On the morning of December 11, 2010, a group of special guests totaled more than 300, who were children from the old revolutionary base areas in Guizhou and earthquake-stricken Yushu, enjoyed free admission to NCPA, and appreciated “White Romance—Chamber Chorus Concert” in the concert hall. These children were subsidized by APTECH (a partner of NCPA), and accepted free junior and senior high school education in Experiment School Affiliated to Peking University.

On June 6, 2014, 15 non-local freshmen of Beijing Union University, sponsored by Mr. Wang Yu and Mr. Song Shuang, visited NCPA for the first time, attended Gunther Herbig & NCPA Orchestra Concert, and immediately savored profound culture of Beijing and endless charm of high art.Photo by Wang Yu

On December 13, 2014, I came to appreciate “Antoni Wit Conducts R. Strauss' Alpine Symphony with China NCPA Orchestra” in the Concert Hall. This is photo taken by before the concert was kicked off.
