On June 23, 2008, a strategic partnership agreement was signed between Bank of China and NCPA, according to which, Bank of China would be a strategic partner of NCPA from 2008 to 2010, carrying out comprehensive cooperation programs with NCPA. The commercial banks, investment banks, and institutions of securities and insurance affiliated to the Bank would all participate in the cooperation programs with NCPA, with Bank of China Group Insurance Company Limited being the major insurance provider for NCPA, offering a comprehensive set of property insurance services.
The cooperation between NCPA and Bank of China is on one hand based on their common love for culture and arts, and on the other hand a reflection of the strong social responsibility of both parties to promote the development of Chinese culture and arts. This strategic cooperation program between Bank of China and NCPA is bound to yield win-win results.
Bank of China also promised to patronize the NCPA Mid-Autumn Concerts from 2008 to 2010 which is full of traditional Chinese characteristics.
