| Operations |
|
|
Performance operation system:
The operation system is responsible for the organization and operation of all performances held at the National Centre for the Performing Arts. It is divided into four sub-departments: the Theatrical Production Department, the Marketing Department, the Stage Technical Support Department and the Stage Supervision Department:
1. The Theatrical Production Department is responsible for the formulation and implementation of the annual concert and performance plan. This includes organizing all performances and the coordination of the Centre's Artistic Advisory Committee.
2. The Marketing Department is responsible for publicity, promotions, media coverage, membership plans and all aspects of ticketing.
3. The Stage Technical Support Department is responsible for the management and maintenance of stages and equipment. It also provides technical support, performance logistics and handles all emergencies. 4. The Stage Supervision Department is responsible for routine theatre services and the management of dressing rooms, rehearsal and practice facilities and actors' lounges.

Arts education and international exchanges: The National Centre for the Performing Arts is responsible for arts education, the popularization of the performing arts, expanding international cultural exchanges and research into the arts.
These responsibilities have been assigned to four sections which are as follows:
1. Arts Education and Outreach Department is responsible non-profit public performances, lectures and other art activities that help popularize performance art.
2. The Arts Exchange Department is responsible for international arts exchange programs, including international and regional cultural and artistic visits, performances and academic exchanges. This department is responsible for receiving foreign delegations and the organization of international conferences.
3. The Resource Centre is responsible for the collection of various arts resources, the administration of the Centre's archives, the collection and storing of overseas and Chinese artists' manuscripts, and the production and publication of various artistic research works. It is also responsible for lectures and exhibitions and events organized for members of the Music Enthusiast Club. It will oversee the operation and management of the video shop and the Centre's bookstore.

Public relations and promotions system:
The public relations and promotions system is responsible for brand promotion, artwork collection and exhibition and fund-raising.
1. The Brand Promotion and Publicity Department is responsible for planning and implementing the Centre's corporate branding strategy, which is essential to the Centre's development. The Promotion Department will be involved in the Centre's overall sales, marketing and public relations. It will use innovative techniques to boost the image and recognition of the National Centre for the Performing Arts.
2. The Artworks Department is responsible for the collection, storage, management and exhibition of all artworks that are owned by the Centre. It is an important element in the establishment of the Centre's cultural heritage. This department also consists of the Acquisitions Department, the Collections Department and the Exhibition Department. 3. The Development Department is responsible for fund-raising, policy studies, external relations with enterprises and social organizations, the management and organization of public donations, donor and volunteer coordination and future development planning. |

Administration system:
The day-to-day administration of the National Centre for the Performing Arts is shared between the President's Office, the Human Resources Department, the Finance Department, the Security Department, the Information Centre and the Party Committee Office:
1. The President's Office is responsible for handling routine management and operational tasks that fall under the responsibility of President. These include external affairs, public relations, research and legal affairs.
2. The Human Resources Department is responsible for human resource management and organization, including the design of relevant human resource programs, recruitment and staff training and appraisals.
3. The Finance Department is responsible for all finance-related operations of the Centre, including the preparation of budgets and financial statements. It also oversees the organization's expenditures.
4. The Security Department is responsible for both internal and external security operations, including fire prevention, security personnel and the electronic surveillance system.
5. The Information Centre is responsible for the Centre's computer systems and database. It is also responsible for e-ticketing and the Centre's computerized seating plan. It will maintain computers that digitally track materials, finances, security, monitoring and equipment operation. 6. The Party Committee Office is responsible for general affairs in relation to internal Party and League construction, including disciplinary inspections. | |

Engineering and Property Management System:
This system is responsible for the normal operation and maintenance of all mechanical facilities, property management and logistics services. The engineering and property management system is divided into the Engineering Department and the Administrative Affairs Department:
1. The Engineering Department is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of all engineering facilities and equipment, including water, electricity and gas supply, heating, air-conditioning, and communications. 2. The Administrative Affairs Department is responsible for property management and the provision of administrative logistics services. | |
