Duo "Maxime Chordis"
The Duo "Maxime Chordis" was founded in 2016 by Gustavo Fontes and Juan Rossi and is devotated to the interpretation of an unorthodox repertoire for violin and double bass.
Due to the scarce literature available for this formation, the duo has also transcribed traditional repertoire and new works by contemporary composers. "Maxime Chordis" has been able to create a new chamber music aesthetic, exploring the harmonization of the seemingly antagonistic instruments due to the musicians’ rich concert and orchestral experience on international stages .
